How to become a full-time blogger
I know a lot of people who have become full-time and successful bloggers too.
They make a living this way and have greatly improved their lifestyle. Years ago, I didn’t know exactly what a blog was. I started a blog almost for fun, I used the blog as a diary to improve my life.
I never started blogging with the hope of earning a living or at least not in the beginning.
I did not even know that you could make money with the blog. I learned everything slowly and through trial and error. But that’s exactly how I started to love this job.
After about a year of various experiences with blogging and as a digital entrepreneur, I started earning some important figures and since then I have never stopped.
In fact, I have learned more and more about earning online and now we can say that it is almost my full time job. I am often asked what is the best way to become a blogger, and that’s what I want to tell you about …
To become a full time blogger create a strategy
If you want to become a full-time blogger, you must first have a clear strategy. And above all you have to answer some questions.
- How will you make money with a blog?
- How do you plan to continuously grow your blog?
- What is your goal?
Creating a strategic plan will allow you to focus on the right things every day. This way, you will know what you are working on and you will know exactly what to do.
To work as a blogger you must first choose a market niche
What is a niche market (or a niche market)? It is simply a well-defined business segment made up of people who have common interests and needs.
So to be a blogger you have to try to create a blog on a well-defined topic, which not only fascinates you but also other people.
This way I can assure you that blogging will remain a fun job and not a boring job.
You can blog about different topics or you can blog about one specific thing, like personal finance for example. Alessandra and I write about finance and related topics because they are topics we really like.
However, any argument will work. Of course, you need to make sure that the topic you choose is profitable.
The blog can be about anything . It is entirely up to you and what you want to do.
Here are some possible topics for your blog. And the list doesn’t end there. Choose one, all or some. It all depends on you.
- Lifestyle
- Home
- Family
- Finance
- do-it-yourself
- Small business
- Outdoor life
- Fitness and health
- Food
- Inspiration and advice
- Animals
- Voyage
- Games
- Relations
- School
- Electronics and more!
The beauty of having a blog is that it can be anything you want. At the end of this article I will show you how to start a DIY blog….
5 key points to follow before starting a blog
- Open your blog
You will never know if you enjoy blogging or if you can become a full-time blogger, unless you start opening one.
Fortunately, starting a blog is affordable.
No, you don’t need a lot of technical skills or anything like that. I started my blog when I didn’t even know they existed. Even if you are not computer savvy, you can still start a successful blog!
There are many people who have successfully started a blog even if they didn’t know much about it. So, the next step to becoming a full time blogger is that you will need to start one!
2. Publish high quality content.
A blog needs high-quality content, especially if you want to become a full-time blogger. This is necessary if you want your readers to always come back to you.
So I recommend these things to you:
- Write about things that you think would like and be useful to others. If you don’t like what you write about, then others probably won’t like it too.
- Do your research. This can include reading other articles, researching statistics, reading books, and so on.
- Create engaging content. Your writing should make the reader want to do something or engage with you.
- Write with your voice. What do I want to tell you? Simply that to distinguish yourself from others, you should write with your own personal imprint and develop your writing style as you go.
- Edit your content. You should never just write content and post it. You should reread, edit and correct them. You have to check her for grammatical errors that sometimes escape and so on.
3. Love what you do.
Blogging is a lot of fun but you really have to love what you do. The best blogs are created by people who love to write and love everything posted on their blog.
However, with this I am not telling you that having a blog is simple.
There are always new things to learn, research to be done, networking opportunities to be grasped, you need to improve your writing and much more.
So, try to enjoy every second of what you do and this will make everything more irresistible and fascinating.
4. Network with others.
Networking is extremely important if you want to become a full-time blogger.
Many bloggers see other bloggers as competitors, which doesn’t allow them to grow. Instead you need to be open to making friends with other bloggers, attending conferences, sharing content with others, and more.
Networking can help you have even more blogging fun.
5. Find ways to monetize your blog.
Of course, if you want to become a full-time blogger, you will need to find ways to make money from blogging
Fortunately, there are several ways to make money blogging. Here are some examples:
- Affiliate Marketing – Affiliate works when you place an affiliate link in a blog post.
- Advertising – It is when you place an ad on your blog in exchange for money.
- Create Your Product – There are many products you could create and sell on your website, such as a book, course, etc.
